Carter update

Carter is getting so big. He was 4lbs. 3 oz. when he was born and now he is almost 9 lbs. I can't believe how fast he is growing. He is such a good baby. He has been home a little over a month now. We can see a big difference in the way he looks now then when he came home. He has already outgrown some of his clothes and continues to grow and develop the way that we wanted him too. I love being a mom and spending time with my baby boy.

An Early Christmas Present!

That's right. I had my baby 7 weeks early. His name is Carter Joshua Ward. He was 4 lbs. 3 oz. when he was born. He is so little i feel like i am going to break him everytime i touch him. He is doing a lot better now. He is breathing on his own now and is enjoying life so far. He is only a little over a week and he is already so alert. He also loves kicking his legs. The nurses wrap him up in his blanket and everytime he manages to escape out of it. Overall he is an easy baby. The nurses say he is the quietest one. We are waiting for the day that we can bring him home from the hospital but for now we are letting the nurses and doctors take care of him the best they can so he can come home soon.

Shhhh! Baby Sleeping!!!

Whoever invented the 4D ultrasound is a genius. It is crazy what technology can do. I got this done last night and you can totally tell what the baby is going to look like. I can't believe that an ultrasound can show all this. Here he is Mr. Carter Joshua Ward!!!! Being in the womb can be exhausting. He did not want to be bothered.

One Year and Counting!

Today is November 3, 2008. Today Ryan and I have been married one year. I can't believe how fast it went. It seems like yesterday we got married. Our lives have changed so much in the last couple of years. One minute we are single and the next we are married and expecting a baby. We are so excited for our baby to be born. He is already a huge part of our lives. We can't wait til the day that we can look at him and play with him. Only 3 more months. I can't believe it. It is coming so fast. So today on our anniversary i want to say to my husband. Thank you for being so great to me and I love you very much. Happy anniversary Ryan!

IT"S A....

So i found out i am going to have a boy. We are very excited. The guy doing the ultrasound saw the baby yawning which was cute. At least the waiting game is over now. Now just the other waiting game now until the baby is due. I am now 18 weeks which is about 2 weeks more than i thought but oh well. The baby is so much bigger now since the last time i saw him. It is amazing how fast they grow. Next thing i know he will be graduating high school.

Big News!

I found out a couple weeks ago i am going to be a mommy. My due date is February 5. We are so excited to be parents. I haven't gotten sick at all which is nice so i hope it stays that way. We don't find out if it's going to be a girl or boy until September. The wait is going to drive me crazy. Although girls are so much easier to dress than boys i really don't care if it is a boy or girl. I will be happy either way. As for us we are still living with my parents in Claremont until we find a house. Ryan is working in an immigration law office as a case manager and i am just enjoying not working. I will keep you all updated on the baby and one of these days i may post some more pictures.
